Hornage Green Power is a plan for a renewable bioenergy plant, located between Long Crendon and Oakley in Buckinghamshire.
Once built it would generate green fuel by purchasing rotation crops and natural waste from local farmers who will receive a stable income and fertiliser in return. This will help local farms who are facing spiralling costs and protect the character of the countryside by letting them keep their fields for farming.
Our plans will help tackle the climate crisis by producing biomethane, a homegrown renewable gas which would support our transition to net zero and reduce our dependence on foreign gas supplies.
Hornage Green Power is good news for Buckinghamshire’s rural economy and the environment, but we need your help.
We’ve submitted a planning application and need local people to tell Buckinghamshire Council that the plans should be approved.
